Opening for Registered Dietitian
The Meals
on Wheels Program is interviewing for a PT
Registered Dietitian to work one day a week and be
responsible for planning and oversight of meal prep,
serving of meals, counseling individuals and groups on
appropriate nutritional practices, promoting healthy
eating habits and recommending dietary modifications for
the Meals on Wheels Program in Benton/Franklin
counties. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in
a related field with certification for registered
dietitian or equiv. exp. as defined by RCW 18.138,
thorough knowledge of federal and state food-related
regulations and sanitation standards, and valid WA St.
Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain one within
14 days of employment. Acceptable criminal history
background check and driving record are required.
Preferable work hours are Thurs. 8am to 4pm.

Wheels Volunteers
Meals on Wheels needs drivers and kitchen help.
All volunteers must pass a
background check. Drivers must have a valid
driver's license and proof of insurance and complete a
Driving Record Self-declaration form. Kitchen
help must obtain a Food Handler's Permit.
Hours are approximately:
drivers 10:30 - 12:30; Kitchen help 9:00 - 1:00 or 10:00 to
12:30.
